Remember when you were a teen trying to figure out what you wanted to do with your life? It seemed there were a million options and trying to evaluate what path to follow required some serious guessimation. But thanks to the Phenomenal Women Career Conference (PWCC) hosted by ESC Region 12 College Link, a select group of about 300 girls got a firsthand experience figuring out their future. 

Equal parts fun and factual, the PWCC featured a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and even a fashion show that touted appropriate professional attire. But it was obvious that keeping the conference relevant to teens was the key to its success. Ensuring the most in-demand careers around the area were represented, conference coordinators invited news reporters, doctors, chefs, cosmetologists, police officers, engineers, realtors, and many more to share their stories with the girls and answer all their questions about what it means to be a working woman in a wide variety of fields.
