Rumor has it that this fall will be the first time that the number of Hispanic, African-American, and Asian students will surpass the number of non-Hispanic white students in schools across the nation—ushering in a new era in student demographics. As you certainly know, this is an important shift for several reasons. One of the most significant being that students in the ethnic minority have often been underserved and require additional resources to ensure college and career success.
