Recommended Writing

Educators, when it comes to getting your students to get their shine on and really push their goals into a college education, there's a lot of effort made on both your parts. You get them to value work, they work. You help them explore their options, they choose. It's a pretty great back and forth—everyone works, and everyone wins. But when it comes time for students to gather the adults in their life that know their hustle best to vouch for them in recommendation-letter form, it can kind of seem like you're all on your own on that front. Sometimes, it can get a little challenging to put how great your TXGU kids are into words—having to keep up with what accomplishments would sound best to which institutions for multiple students is pretty labor-intensive (worthwhile as it always is).

Luckily for you, we were able to find CollegeXpress' list of tips and tricks to help you with what to write. Did you know there's actually a way to fast-track rec letters by using a template without having your written endorsements look like carbon copies? It can be done—just click through and study up. We can vouch for how good the information is just like you'll be able to vouch for the next wave of TXGU college attendees—with our whole hearts (and maybe just a little eye-mist).
