We'll Miss You, Textbooks. (Maybe?)

 

Reading from tablets has become incredibly popular. They’re easily portable, they have the capacity to house entire libraries in one handheld electronic, and they don’t smudge your fingers with pesky ink. In many ways, these are incredible, space-saving inventions. But what about in schools? Should textbooks be replaced by tablets and distributed to students instead? Should entire curriculums be built onto digital-only platforms?

Right now, it looks like textbooks and once-ubiquitous worksheets are quickly becoming vintage artifacts. School districts and colleges are dropping big bucks and providing technology for students that makes teaching complete curriculums through interactive apps possible.
