Your BFF, the To-Do List

Are you the kind of person who makes lists when you’ve got a lot to do? We completely understand. So does the U.S. Department of Education, apparently. One section of their Federal Student Aid website is offering up great checklists to help get students and parents prepared for a collegiate future—starting in middle school. Including everything from developing study habits to seeking mentors, this checklist allows everyone on “Team Student” the opportunity to consider ways to start early on the path towards higher education. Once you read through what to do in the eighth grade, don’t stop there! Keep on clicking. There’s also plenty of information available for things to do in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade as well. Go crazy and mark things off that list left and right with your students!
