Have you heard? The Texas GEAR UP State Conference is happening November 16-18 in downtown Austin! This year’s theme is “Discover Your Possibilities,” focusing on parent, student and community engagement. It’s sure to be an incredible time of learning, networking, and inspiration—and we want you to help do the inspiring!
Not only is conference registration officially open, but we’re also now accepting proposals for sessions on lessons learned that relate to the engagement focus. Each Texas GEAR UP project is invited to submit at least one (and up to five) proposals for hour-long sessions. Head here to give us an overview of your sure-to-be-awesome presentation—and remember to fill out a separate submission for each session you’re proposing.
Be sure to submit your proposal(s) by the September 15th deadline. We can’t wait to hear all about your ideas, and we look forward to swapping inspiration with you in Austin!
P.S. Corporations, exhibitors, and sponsors with ties to a GEAR UP program are welcome to submit proposals for sessions—but no sales presentations allowed.
