If getting kids prepared for, interested in, and well on their way to college was as easy as just using the Nike slogan, we wouldn't need to keep posting resources for you. But it might behoove them to remember (you'll see what we did there in a moment)—at the end of the college rainbow there lies a pot of perfect-career gold. And this young lady has the perfect reminder. 

Meet Lemnique. The star of her own TXGU "How I Got Here" video was determined to work with animals as a veterinarian—coaxing our furred, feathered, fanged, and finned friends back to keeping their humans company at 100% capacity. But unlike other career paths that have many different lanes and forks all leading to success, Lemnique's passion didn't leave her with any room to take the road less traveled. Undergrad work, years of vet school, and an apprenticeship with a veteran veterinarian (say that 10 times fast) were all necessary components for the job-satisfaction stew she was cooking up—but we're going to guess that the whole doing-what-you-love thing more than made up for the sleepless nights she spent working her way through her education.
