Artful Inspiration

It's not unusual for everyone in your district or even your school (or even your staff break room at any given moment) to have differing opinions on the best way to make lessons stick with students. At least one general consensus that's been reached is that sometimes you have to show and then tell, and that's just what this art instructor did—drawing out incredibly detailed chalk masterpieces for his students in order to illustrate some colorful concepts.

Granted, as Nate100100 (the Wyoming teacher's digital-world handle) himself says, you'd expect an art teacher to be able to execute artistic techniques—it's kind of their whole thing. But we're sharing his work, not just because it's awesome, but because it also manages to be two equally amazing things for the educational field: cheap and renewable. Now that's an extra boost of inspiration to all of us. You can chalk all this simple innovation up to the dedication he has to his kids. It's the same drive you'll find in yourself.
