Remember the Arts

 

STEM. It’s certainly all the rage right now. And with high-tech jobs going unfilled and the U.S. falling behind in the technology race, getting students on board with some of the more science-y subjects makes a lot of sense. However, what about the arts? Recent conversation is surrounding the way that neglecting the arts is setting students up to lack the innovation and creative skills that also make for an impressive, technology-savvy resume.
